We WERE going to buy a house, but as we began to close in on one, we started to get cold feet. Part of the issue for us is that we definitely have to leave here in 5 years (5 instead of four because I want to double major) and go to grad school. And grad school doesn't wait on you selling your house/renting it in order to pay your mortgage. Also ( Read more... )

Yeah I think even though the market is down nobody is willing to take the chance on a house :-/

Yeah. I mean, if we were going to stay here for a long time, I think we'd do it because we're not so much worried about paying for it while we're here but what do we do when we want to leave? What if the economy is still crappy and no one has any money to buy? What if our house loses value? So...we decided it'd be better to wait. :)
