Ok so I'm about to embark on my very first writing contest and I'm both excited and scared witless at the same time! It's 3k words about anything I like as long as it is centered around a "Faustian Bargain". Been brainstorming for most of the day and finally settled on an idea I had some time ago now. Ok, so now it's out there, I can see all these little flaws and sentences I would have written differently *sigh*.  Oh well, at least I got my "butt in the seat" and started writing!  The only way is up :)
