Today can die in a fire.

First off, apologies for not posting much. I usually have at least one hand on the baby, so typing anything of consequence would take way too long. The rare moments when I have two hands are often used on frivolities like eating and napping. Crazy, I know ( Read more... )

*blinks* Will you have enough support system out there for new baby care? I imagine your sister isn't relocating with you...

Yeah... not really. I mean, Charles has a ton of family out there, but I'm not all that comfortable with them. I'm sure I could try, but it would be very rough.

I'm already weighing options like Charles going out there and me staying behind for a few months, until the baby is older. I'd lose out on Charles-support, but keep my sister/friend-support. We'll see how things go, but it could be worth it.

Eventually Jen will be in Washington DC going to law school, so while she won't be close, she won't be as far as she would be from California, either.

And I repeat: Oy.

Wow, yeah, that's very Oy.

Wish I had something intelligent to add, but no, not really. I hope the timing isn't too hard.

Let me start out with this: *HUG*

Let me continue with, on the one hand, yikes. Moving cross-country with an infant... Holy poop. It was bad enough with just me and Leon.

Let me finish with, on the other hand, Savannah is only 11 hours from us. I'm just sayin'.

Let me sum up with, *HUG*, yikes, I'm just sayin'. :)

*Hugs* I know how scary it is to be told something might be wrong with your little person.

I am glad he is ok, and his heart checked out.

Like Technocowboy said, on the upside you will be closer to us...

We are in VA so it is a day trip to come out to Georgia.

*hugs*

Oh, sweetie. *hug*

I hope windrose read this. She, as a fully functional adult, does have a heart condition that causes her heart rate to be much faster than normal (her resting heart rate is what most people's aerobic heart rate is). Even if Baby Charles does have it, it's not the end of the world, just a physical quirk like so many possible physical quirks that will have to be managed.

And boo, moving to Savannah. *cling*

How's Thursday looking for you, for a visit?

Very interesting, about windrose was saying that there are very few heart issues that don't have some kind of fix anymore. It's pretty amazing, what they can do.

Trust me, I *really* don't want to move to the South. I'm already concocting plans of keeping my apartment somehow...

Thursday would be lovely. Come over whenever. :)
