Disney

I've never been a big fan of disney movies. I know about how beautiful the stories are and whatever, but it's too much fantasy... (strictly talking about the older disney movies, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and Beauty and the Beast and the such. I just watched a bit of Life is Ruff yesterday and well... that's not exactly " ( Read more... )

As for Cinderella, it wasn't so much as she was lying to him but made him aware of her presence. You think he would have even bothered to look at a servant girl?

My friend told me something "who you know may get you through the door, but it's what you know that keeps you in." It's applied to jobs but it works here too. Her looks may have caught his attention but after "happily ever after" if she turns out to be nothing more but a pretty face, then I'm sure it won't be so "happily." However, during the movie you can tell that she's much more than that.

Also, don't just blame Disney; the Grimm Brothers had a lot to do with it.

And stop complaining, people should know better than to expect fairytale endings. It just would be nice if something like that would happen, it's a dream.

My favorite Disney movie is Lion King and yes, I expect my Prince Charming to be a lion named Simba. =)

How have you been?

I didn't actually mean that Cinderella lied to the prince. It's just that Cinderella had magical help. Could she have been so glamourous without the help of the Fairy Godmother?

I'm still waiting for a Cinderella 2 or something to show exactly how the "happily ever after" thing is working out for them

considering most of the disney watchers are little kids; I think they'll be very upset when they grow up and find out that fairytale endings just don't happen. might as well have watched those soap operas and know what it's really like early on

hmm... I wonder what your dates with Simba are like =P

I've been okay, kinda bored sometimes, as shown by this entry about, of all things, disney. -__-

So how are you doing?

There actually is a Cinderella 2 already silly. She, the prince and his family have differences, quite funny. Stupid, but funny =)

Hey, kids/girls can dream. Don't ruin it for us >=T

We have to catch up Clement! Much has happened since we last saw each other!

Shh, don't tell Nala, she doesn't know =)

hmm oops... I found it, quite low ratings on imdb...
I guess I can't say much about it until (if) I watch it

I'm just wondering, that's all =P

of course we do, when and where? =)

haha, of course I won't tell Nala. uh... who is Nala?
