To Take... or not to Take... That is the Question...

Dec 06, 2003 19:13

Once again I have this dilemma. The same question I asked myself so many times during summer. To take physics... or not to take physics.

If I drop physics...
pro:
  • greater chances for B in calc... or even A? ^_^
  • no more fear of getting a D =)
  • more free time =D
  • lunch time for friends :D
  • more time for calculus :)

our situations are a little different though

your grade in calc is good enough to ensure that you will definitely get above a C in the class

but I am currently at a C- for physics, a 70.00000000000%... which means if I drop at all I will get a D, which will pretty much means I can be in no better than a Cal State... even though my GPA and activities should be good enough for some UCs

of course, as a born pessimist, that's what I am thinking... but if I can prove to myself that I am in no danger of falling to that forbidden D range I'll stay in the class

Join me and drop physics!

LoL..less Jing. I'll go with Eddy on that =)

And if you come to my period for English, you can sit next to Grace, Sally, Chua, and me! =)

i cant believe youre not considering leaving all your sixth period english friends. however, being a fellow dropper of a class, i really think its up to you rather or not you should drop it. my situation was pretty similar, i knew that i would get like a d in calc, and staying in would decrease my college chances, but educate me a lot. i took the cowards way out, but hell, its my senior year. i go to school at 10 tomorrow, and things just seem so much more pleasant.
-steven, hoping you would stay in english to listen to my insults to mike
