mom talked me out of ucla it's pretty much just up to ucsd now don't think my mom even wants berkeley ...unless there's full scholarship, which we both knew is improbable
you should go to the orientation yourself if you have the time... the reasons she listed are not that important as far as an education goes. when all is said and done the companies care about where you got your diploma, how good of an education you got, not parking/housing/how long you spent there.
of course, if you yourself feel the parking/housing/etc is really a problem, then you won't have a fun 4 (or 5) years, so don't go there. just fyi, berkeley had the exact same problem with parking/housing/# prof and i got a good education (in 4 years) and didn't kill anyone while doing it.
didn't daniel recommend you to go there? ask him how serious those issues are.

she's been to ucla a couple times and didn't like it, I think it's because of the difficult parking
housing in ucla is hard to find
and... ucla has limited professors, so that means you might have to go for five or more years just because you could not get all the classes you need
but if you are going the the ucla orientation maybe you can offer another perspective...

second, all UCs have limited professors. its their trademark. ANY UC will have competition in the classes.
