Btw, my favorite net ionic equation I've read thus far:

NH4+(aq) + (Cl2)-(aq) --> Co(OH)2(s)

....seriously? where do students get these answers from? that's probably worse than anything I've gotten (though someone has tried to measure volume in atmospheres, and I also got the equation Q/4(pi)(epsilon)R = Q/8(pi)(epsilon)R. wtf.)

And I guess 4 is the new 8 now?

And actually, my favorite part about that equation is that if you count up the protons and neutrons...it works. NUCLEAR CHEMISTRY IN A TEST TUBE, BABY.
