Closing Time

Well, I never actually thought I'd get to this point, but like many others, I'm now leaving LiveJournal. Between the layout change, the frequent bugs, the inability to access important functions, the promised "improvements" in a later update, and most especially the dismal customer support and dismissal of legitimate concerns, I don't see much ( Read more... )

I haven't had an interest in KH in a long, long time, so I don't know what to tell you. I think we should just give it to them and let them do what they want.

Alrighty! Will wait to see if Yume has anything to say, but if not, then will just turn off moderation and go "have fun, kidlets."

We really outta just hand it over to one of them. Maybe whoever still posts there the most. For some reason, I'd rather not let it get completely run over.

Hmm...I suppose we can put up a post asking if anyone in particular wants mod access? I can't even remember who posts there the most now. x_x

I added you on DW -- also, I'm not sure if you saw my shout-out, but I got your card ♥ Thank you so very much.

Yeeeah, I feel like we've passed the point of much needing to rant like back when it first started...I'm totally happy doing fandom things without needing to rant there, anyway.

I've usually been of the "it'll all blow over" mindset, but after seeing everything just in these past few days...yeeeeah, I'm done trying to deal with it all, especially since I don't use this journal nearly as much as I used to.

That's what I heard, so I worry some! XD

I am your silent stalker in all those places muwahahah except for plurk... wtf is plurk?

LJ has found a new low... I want to disconnect myself but I'm thinking that's going to be hard, since I know I have some good friends on LJ who aren't leaving...

As for KHFFR, I agree with Wolfiemon, everything that's can be ranted about has been ranted about to death.

OH NOES STALKING Plurk is kind of like the unholy lovechild of Twitter and AIM. XD There's a 140-character limit, but replies to your posts are all collapsed under that one Plurk. It also takes on a sideways-scroll approach along a timeline, and it's got some nifty features like custom emotes.

Yeah, same here. :( I don't want to loose touch with people that I probably wouldn't see otherwise! Or particular artists that I stalk, but I dunno if they post journals anywhere else.

Preeeetty much. It seems even with new games, most of the rants at their core are the same now.

Hey there! I added you on DW. (I crosspost pretty much everything to lj and dw these days.) So many people are migrating, though, that I'm thinking about doing a "please tell me where else you are before you leave!" post. The only reason I'm staying on lj is that almost all of my Robin Hood fanfriends and communities are here, and until hoodland" up and moves, I'm... not exactly stuck, but likely to stick around.

Okay sweet, saw that! And yeah, I think most people have been staying for communities...if most of the fandom ones pack up and leave too, then that may signal people just not coming back to LJ at all. :P
