So...when I was born, my dad's company at the time set up a small bond ($1000) for me that matured a few years ago. So my mom convinced me to set it aside for retirement and the adviser I talked to convinced me to put it in a mutual fund. This was at the end of 2007. Any one remember what happened in 2008? Hmm...taking another look at it, it seems it's been slowly falling since April. The drop in the nation's credit rating just happened to cause it to dip slightly steeper than it had been.
