So I found out some of the people in some of my classes. It makes me happy to know that I won't be by myself.

Wow, I am really going to miss this summer. I am going to miss spending every night at Caribou. I am going to miss sleeping in every morning. I am going to miss my friends when they go to college. I am going to miss the freedom that summer

I didn't know you knew David, too.

I didn't, but his death has affected people I care about deeply.

No one deserves to die so young and leave so much dissolved. It's a situation that I wish I could make better, but will never be able to, as I was never a part of it.

It makes me so heartbroken that none of us are great friends anymore because I know that this isn't what David would want at all. He would want us to be even closer than we were before. That lays on my heart all the time. Every time I think about him I know that he is wishing that we were still close. I miss everyone else too, almost as much as I miss him.
