So, random question. When a person writes notes to themselves, how does that person address themselves in the note? Like "We need to" or "I need to" or "Need to" or "You need to"? I am curious!

i usually leave out pronouns altogether
and even the "need to"

like just "get soap" instead of "we need to get soap" because it's more expedient and remains understandable.

I do sometimes head it up with "Note to self" but then it's very commanding and pronounless!

Mine tend to be, "Self, remember you have to do this thing," or, "Self, you need x!"

I just basically leave orders, so I guess it's like writing in second person? I am very bossy with myself.
