My 'boss' is above my adviser, but no, there's not really anyone I can go to. He's not doing it intentionally, i don't think, he's just so busy with other things that he's not making the time for me that i need him to make.

Recession freaking blows still.

It's still impossible to find a decent paying job these days. Furthermore, no new jobs are opening up because departments are cutting positions and people don't want to move on in this economy.

Trust me, I'm still rolling in the suck right now. I'm sorry to hear you are as well.

The recession is going to blow for a few more years, buddy, especially for people like us. I don't give a rats ass what they say about the recession being over, shit's still going to get worse for awhile longer, and I personally don't think that we'll see the job market recover for about 4-5 years (assuming we can hang in there that long).

Fortunately for me, I'm at least not too concerned about finding a job right now... Since I'll be moving to Africa for the next 2 years or so, looking for work doesn't seem to be like that big of a priority. Still, though, a lot of my friends are in the same boat as you, and I know all too well what it's like. Best of luck with the battle, bud.

You should injure him AFTER he gives you a bad grade, silly Lion.

Why would I do that? Shouldn't I injure him prior, to provide an incentive -not- to give me the bad grade :P (BTW, I don't get 'grades' anymore :P).

No grades? Then how do you know how well you did?
