Africa Pictures

Alright, so I've -finally- gotten around to uploading some of my Africa pictures! I took somewhere around 300, so needless to say, I'm not going to post them all for obvious reasons. I posted a few up on FA, however, MOST of them I obviously didn't bother to upload there.

Approximately 100 meters, or roughly 330 feet. So yeah... pretty damn high :P

Great pics all around in there. Looks like you are definately leading the envious life.
I am going to assume that the snake in the sub folders is simply a 'green snake', but I have to admit my first thought would have been 'mamba' based on where you were. Glad to see that you made it back in one piece, although a scar from a lion swipe would be something I'm sure you'd have worn with pride as well, so to speak :) Take care for now.

Thanks man, it was definitely an awesome experience, and something I'm very grateful I was able to do while I could. It's always been my dream, and it feels great to have lived it, if only for a few days.

The green snake in the pictures is just a little tree snake.. not sure of the exact species, but I do know that they are relatively harmless towards people. The other snake (the dead one with it's head lopped off) is a puff-adder, one of the most deadly snakes in all of Africa. The guy in the picture just about stepped right on top of it!

And as for scars from lions, I've already got one to boast about, but saddly it didn't happen on this trip. Hopefully next time ;)
