From here to there
Do i jump
I look across
and see such a splendid future
I am halfway
Through the river
I have burnt the bridge
I cannot go back
I can only go forward
So from my rock haven
Do i jump
Across I land
On the shores of this future
I look high above me
And see the blue sky
I look ahead and see all
That I am to become and am

I am sitting in the trenches of my soul
Trying to escape the bombardment
I sit
Crouched down
Eyes closed
Praying hard
Until I am hit
Now I am on the ground
Knowing that they have won
Never mind the damage
Never mind the pain
I have surrendered
And this alone
Is painful enough

So this is me
So this is what I am
I am the words from this poem
In motion
I am the one muse
That some seel to find
