bLender05: and your right you should never resent your sensitivity - it means your human... and humanity is a great thing

It's odd though, you hear about people dying all the time- and doesn't shake you, you have to BE there to affect you. That's why there's all the rubberneckers looking on the shoulder everytime there's an accident. Not to see all the carnage and the like, just to remind them they're alive. That 'unnatural causes ' machine may come by and bulldoze them out of the blue

I think the feelings you have probably are intensified b/c you question existence and puprpose quite a bit...the fact it can all be gone so quick. But hey, you were praying- so maybe you think there's an afterlife, if so- that's cool too.

I looked at the back of my DL after this- and even though I told them I was a donor, it says nothing...hrm.

Thank you very much for your post Vallie. I really enjoyed your quotes, especially the second Epicurius quote and Mark Twain. hehe :)

Wow I am so amazed you enjoyed my little entry so much, especially when I was profoundly disappointed upon rereading it. The italics were included while I wrote it the first time. The bolded statements were included the second time through for impactfulness and hopefully to gain reader attention! ;)

I am usually doing 3 miles, but the five mile jog was because I had time in the morning to do it. Sounds like you should try to make some time to go walking/jogging. Although, you had a busy week/end!!!

I love you! Tell me how things went with Patrick!

I didn't even notice the subject line till now, but, it fits as it has been raining quite heavily here all morning. This adds quite nicely to the already dreary indoor mood since Ma is apparently mad at Val! and me again for some yet to be disclosed reason. She told Val! that she wouldn't talk about it until the company left. So, OK, and a happy 4th to us one and all ( ... )

Mom - thanks for commenting. ;) Hope y'all got to see some fireworks last night. Randolph AB decided not to have the show afterall. :(
I just assumed the motorcyclist was a him. I don't know if it is anyone we know. Haven't checked any obituraries.
You're right - I do need to not take people's rudeness/meanness so personally. There's got to be some easy way to do that. ;)

Love you,
