People are very stupid sometimes. You can't be upset with M about the comment. You have to keep the customers happy. And at some point M&W may realize about the 1 year thing. But, they wouldn't understand why it would be so important to you anyway. So, just hope they do notice at some point and think "ah, this requires a bonus". hehe
Also, old rules et al die hard. But, there are much worse things than not being able to golf at some stuffy cigar smelling place. There was an old joke that said "any club that would have me I wouldn't want to belong to"; well, in this instance I think it should be "any club that welcomes the Bush's I wouldn't want to go to!"
I know that's not the point, but, just consider it.
Also it takes a long time for some things to change. The better question would be why isn't there a women's only club? You know the shower room would smell better. :)
CONGRATS!!!!!!!! and Love you ^*^

Love you Mom :)
This comment is so accurate. The shower room would DEFINITELY smell mighty fine. ;) and Yeah, I wouldn't wnat to belong to a club with the Bush's either, but yeah too - not the point. Glad you realized that. ;)

Thanks for talking to me earlier. I will definitely just avoid those women in the future.
I love you.

Sheesh. What is it with US pizza chains and conservatives? ;-)

Come to think of it, South Africa has its own nutty pizza chains. One of them just went halaal across my province - sure, not as nutty as the PJ and Domino's guys, but I sure do miss that pepperoni.

The thing I empathise with most in your post is the last part. What kicks so much harder than the presence of irritating/offensive people, is the realization that you're alone in despising them, at least in the immediate moment.

Very interesting web search about Domino's owner. Needless to say it started me on a long, multi-hour research project on Ave Maria. Damn you internet!

How does a pizza chain go halaal?

Well I know my bosses really like this woman. I know they *don't* like her mother. I can't see much of a difference between the two. Unfortunately I let it affect me too personally. My mother gave me good advice. Next time that woman or her mother shows up, excuse myself and say I have to run an errand. Whether it be going to the lab, going to lunch, etc. Oh, and of course the typical "don't take things too personally" speech.

"I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."-Groucho Marx.

Thusly of Bush and Mr Papa John's daughter.

13 yrs and pluggin' at m'job- I have yet to see a gold watch...sad how loyalty is repaid sometimes. I get you on this one, sadly.:[

Makes you think if they've ever been in your situation..

Hope the tears have moved on, or have inspired 'tear proof pillow cases' which you could invent and make some $$$ on.

What's your screenplay about by the by?

13 years, that's incredible. I don't know if there is any place I'd want to be for 13 years. I certainly can't imagine it. I don't think I have that in me. Damn misery.

But Mondays are the worst. That whole directionless having nothing much to do feeling is the worst.

They've never been in my situation. They are trust fund babies that got into photography because it was fun. His dad was a TX oil tycoon and her dad apparently had money as well. *shrug*

Screenplay is a further development of Val's! film short about Gia, the mobster girl.
