Yet more reasons why Sar is Teh Awesome...
In other news:
- Last night was Camila's bday party, which was awesome fun! It's the first party that Danielle & Dan have had at their new place and it was definitely a success. The rules were thus: each person was to bring one bottle of liqour that could be used to make mixed drinks and over the course of the evening we all got to experiment with different cocktails. There were a good 20 different types of liquor there and I certainly took advantage of it! Mmm, experimentation...
- Next Friday I'm going to go see Reefer Madness with Carolyn, Dan and Megan. The four of us all got season passes together for Hart House Theatre this year. I'm really excited about it!
- I got a work-study job again this year, but this time it's with the faculty's head office. I'll be doing more marketing/PR stuff and a lot of writing, which I'm quite looking forward to.
- Last Friday was "International Pub Crawl Night," where we all got together and visited the various culture-themed bars in the area. First, we went to a Russian Communist bar where I had a plum wine martini. Next was an Irish pub where I had a glass of whiskey, then a Black Velvet (Guinnes & cider) and finally an Irish Car Bomb. After that we hit up an Italian place, where I split a bottle of wine with Camila and Dan and then also ordered a glass of delicious, delicious Lemoncello after sampling a sip of Tong's. Last stop was the Duke of Gloucester, where Rob and I split a pitcher of Tetley beer. Yeah, I didn't know they made beer, either. It was good, though. That was a very fun night.
