Halfamoon prompts?

I'll be on trains for a fair portion of next week, and my laptop has no battery, so that means hours and hours with my notebook and kindle (suits me!). So, since halfamoon is running at the moment, would anyone like to leave me some prompts for ficlets starring female characters ( Read more... )

You're an L.M. Montgomery fan, right? If it interests you at all, I'd love to read some Emily of New Moon fic by you. :-) (I could leave more specific prompts too, if you like.)

I love the Emily books - or I did last time I reread them, which was about 10 years ago. :) So yes, throw out a prompt or two, if you like!

I recently discovered that the translations of the Emily books -- which I loved as a child and reread a billion times -- were heavily shortened and occasionally altered, and that the last book wasn't even published here (at least not that I know of). So I've been reading the originals at www.gutenberg.org, which has been very enjoyable and even a bit like reading fanfic, since I'm learning so much more about the characters. *g ( ... )

Prompts received - thank you! I've also turned to Gutenberg, so will work on something when I've refreshed my memory of the source. *g*

(I highly recommend LMM's journals, by the way, if you like her writing. Or at least, the first volume; I gather they get progressively more depressing.)
