I miss living in a dreamscape.

All of the buildings here are boring colors and the plants never surprise you.

Plus, winter is approaching.

Too bad the world I miss doesn't exist anymore.

It's nice to be understood. I feel like most people here cannot comprehend why I or anyone might like where and how we lived before.

i wish so much that i had been more appreciative and in-the-moment when i was in new college. now it's gone. i mean. i feel like it's changed so much it would be devastating to go back, even though i have fantasies of teaching there. my plan of study actually mentions the alumni teaching fellowship.

I also have dreams of doing the alumni teaching fellowship, although I worry that it wouldn't be as awesome as I imagine. Do you know if it is actually very hard to get chosen for it?
