What the heck?! Seriously, folks, what kind of shit did Anthony Head have hanging over him that someone blackmailed him into being in this film. I want that time back.
I thought it alternated between being wretchedly unredeemable and occasionally kind of brilliant in a crazy way. I could see looking at the script and going, "This... could be awesome." Sometimes that's totally worth the gamble.
I still have not seen it. I figure it'll show up as a bad movie at a SF movie marathon some year and I can watch it in the right frame of stupid-appreciating.
I think I just wanted it to be better than it was. It had the potential for so much more than it delivered. With your expectations at sufficient levels I think it would be okay. I had seen a trailer for it several months ago and I have been very excited about seeing it, so I was much more let down than I might have been had I just wandered across it on the sf channel or something.
