So, here are some pics from Sunday's filming. They're under the cut, for the sake of your Friends List.
5 am, having just taken out the rollers. For the record, kids, THIS is why I wear mascara and eye brow pencil whenever I leave the house, even if it's just to go to the corner store. I'm terrifying, people.
Much better. All made up and nearly in costume.
For the record, I'm dressed. The halter just isn't done up yet.
On the left, Paula the writer/director, with Evie, camera woman extraordinaire.
The cast waits.
Best part of this picture? Left hand side, sidewalk, orange graffiti. To the immediate right of it? Dead mouse. On the other side of the alley? Road kill rat. At one point we were downwind of the corpses and there was such a stench... I guess it was appropriate for this sci-fi-ish film, which I've redubbed "Alien Freight Train of Doom"
Not long after this, the director and AD were off camera yelling "FREIGHT TRAIN! FREIGHT TRAIN! FREIGHTTRAINFREIGHTTRAINFREIGHTTRAINFREIGHTTRAINFREIGHTTRAINFREIGHTTRAIN!" and we were all writhing in mock pain, and then freezing while the locked off the camera for a special effects shot to be added in later.
Chillin in my costume before a take. This was the dress (and shoes) I wore in Greg and Robyn's wedding in October of '06. Who says you'll never wear those bridesmaid dresses again?
For the record, I shot all day in these three inch stilletos.
Ok, so maybe I didn't wear the shoes the entire shoot.
Napping in the van during a break.
This is Jay street, between Greenwich and Hudson. We filmed a long, wide angled shot here. For the record, walking down these old cobble stones in heels? Murder!
Waiting at Times Square on the way home from the shoot.
Home, and very tired.
