Sometimes I think the punishments that would come from not paying back my student loans would almost be preferable to working as a collections representative for one more day. And then I think . . . well, I'll just do it til grad school (which, by the way, is no where in sight on the timeline of my life) or until I start a family (which I've promised myself not to do until I can get my finances in order, which also is no where in sight on the timeline of my life) and so I'm stuck working at ASG, calling people who live on Tater Peeler Rd and in Truth or Consequences, NM or trying not to laugh at people who's last name is "Humphers", until one of three things happens: 1) I win the lotto and don't have to worry about money anymore, 2) I pay off my student loans early by some miracle of God, or 3) I just go nuts from the sheer monotony of getting hung up on by answering machines (because that's right, nowadays you can get your answering machine to hang up on the people you don't want to talk to

oh god, you can't call me sister. it makes me cringe. here's the story: i'm organizing this alumni theatre reunion for my high school. it was totally my idea; i pitched it to alumni relations, and they were like "great! this woman who's a theatre alumn wants to help out with anything the theatre program is doing, so i'll connect you with her". this woman? insane. INSANE! she took over the project, wrote me nasty emails, left me nasty phone messages, called me at work and yelled at me for a half hour, and finally after only four weeks of dealing with her, i quit. which was hard to do! i hate quitting something, esepcially something i started myself and loved and thought was a great idea

I know you'd get the humor, but it's clear that a line has been drawn. And over that line I shall not cross.
unfortunately, more lines have been crossed than i like to admit. hence, my premature death. dude, of course i'm dead. what the hell else would i be with all of this crap every day for 8 hours. 1/3 of my goddamn day is spent sleeping, 1/3 is spent dying or dead, and 1/3 is spent trying to recover my pitiful existence.
