The Blizzard of Oz

I have been housebound for the past three days, due to the Blizzard of Oz. It's like the Little House on the Prairie, only without Pa and Half-Pint.

I had been asked to accompany a dear friend to England this week, and now I'm wishing I'd agreed. It's cold there this week, but there's no howling winds and foot-high snow drifts.
