I am still amused at the ABBA guess. I don't think I've ever heard them--do they sound a lot like the Carpenters?

Oh my god I just downloaded both the Swedish and English versions of Caramelldansen and THIS IS AWESOME AND IT'S GONNA BE STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR A MONTH AND THIS IS AWESOME. :D

You were right! I like the Westlife version better than Terry Jacks, which I believe is the original.
