i guess you know you're growing up when you know you can't change people... so there isn't even the slightest thought to even make the attempt.

perhaps it's just as simple as keeping the people who bring out the best in you around and not giving the people that don't a chance.

That's what I try to do, life is too short to be around people who stress you out or make you unhappy or treat you like shit or you just don't get along with anymore or whatever. Only the people who truly care about you are worth being around. When you're around someone who doesn't care about you, you're wasting your time and energy with them when you could be with someone who DOES care about you.
