Good Lord, Castle was perfect, PERFECT, this week - and not only because I'm a sucker for one-half-of-my-OTP-in-distress sort of situations. The scene after the explosion? Holy crap. I went all girly and squee-y, which I'm not proud of. This show does it all so insanely well, I wish all my fandoms were as fabulous. And no, I'm not tired of the ( Read more... )

Ah yes. *That* scene from 'Hustle'.

I've only just been catching up on the show (since I'm feeling a yearning for Leverage, and it includes the delectable Ms Murray).

That scene made me *splorfle*, rather a lot.

Hustle is such a fabulous series! I used to watch it, back in the day, but I've only recently re-discovered my love for it because of the lovely Jaime Murray. ♥

OH MY GOD, I love that video. That's fantastic.

Yeah, JJ, totally hot this season. Not that she wasn't before, but it's like increased. What the hell happened at the State Department?

And I agree about Emily's hair, it's the behind the ears thing that throws me off.

A.J. looks better and better with age. Just compare this hotness with the baby face of Season 1. Insane.

The hair-behind-the-ears thing makes Emily look a) way too posh, and b) way too femme. Do not like.

I've been bad about reading your picspams. *hides*

JJ is looking mighty fine this season. Between her and Emily, I'm in gorgeous butch heaven.

I love that concerned, compassionate look that Emily gets on her face like in that scene with Rossi. And her voice changes, too. Paget does that SO well.

OMG the look on JJ's face when Emily talked about her near-death experience! Emily was clearly upset about it and JJ was hurting for her. Perfect couple is perfect.

Yeah, because I've been keeping score. :p

I couldn't agree more, Paget does the compassionate look/scenes so insanely well. And I love the way she brings her hand to her lips just when the camera cuts off.

EMILY & JJ. I JUST CANNOT QUIT THESE TWO.

Frakking mother of president Roslin, Criminal Minds is such a problematic show for me. It is so wrong in so many ways... the ridiculous clairvoyance success of profiling, the sickening and thoughtless juxtaposition of obscene, objectifing, sadistic torture and jolly laugh-a-second cooking parties (*vomit*), the SG-1-esque obsession with giving each character in the ensemble a personal and/or historic tragedy (family suicide, stillbirth, mental illness etc. etc.)... but then you look at the oh-so obvious must-mish the blonde-and-and-dark-prettiness eye-candy that is JJ and Emily and oh wtf who cares whatever... ;D

As for Warehouse 13 - best dialogue in TV sci-fi since 1970s Blakes 7 hit its cerebral peak the 1980s (what happened to Servelan? Did Jackie Pierce go off to Africa and still lives in a monkey sanctuary or something esoterical? I adored that woman). Yes, I know B7 was shoestring budget English space-opera (hair-driers and kitchen utensils masquerading as space ships) as opposed to the state-of-the-art English scif-fi tech ( ... )

Just to add, I'm surprised that comment even got through. I have three children currently hogging the router with World of Warcraft, BinWeeevils and something else which I'm sure parents aren't even supposed to know about much less understand... Go old and rather corroded wires!.

I never really took Criminal Minds *seriously* seriously to begin with. I mean, at the end of the day, it's entertainment and an American show on top of it. But compared to most other (American) crime shows, they do things a whole lot better. Given the often obnoxious context of Hollywood shows, Criminal Minds does get it right in many ways.

It's remarkable how a show with such a small budget (for a scifi show) and, let's be honest, a ridiculous setting can be so good. WH13 is a breath a fresh air. <3
