So, as most of you already know, Paget is finally leaving Criminal Minds. While I am certainly bummed--my favourite TV character ever, EVER--I completely understand her decision. CBS treated her (and A.J., and Rachel Nichols) like shit, and I hope she'll go on to do a job in which the people in charge actually appreciate her. Paget, go back to ( Read more... )

emily had a hickey... that what I'm telling myself for the t-neck. JJ got beaten up some BUT NO EMILY TO COMFORT HER. Like last ep when JJ snuck to the house Em was totally giving her the worried gf look. I actually expected more of a fight.

It has to be the hickey explanation, because the turtlenecks are too prominant at the moment. It was so riduculous that Emily didn't make a beeline to JJ in the end! She should've been there in a flash, just like in the past. *points to icon*

Finally watching the episode, now that Boston is settled.

1) JJ butchness. OMG, my mind goes to all those "Butchness 101" lessons Emily gave JJ. Wish they'd made an episode out of that. *g*

2) JJ at the back of the ambulance reminds me of Emily at the back of another ambulance back in season three.

3) Emily... Each week I am more and more convinced that JJ keeps giving these huge hickeys to Emily. There can be no other rational explanation for all these turtleneck shirts. I do think they suit Emily/Paget, but enough is enough. I miss the pant suits and the jackets... Oh, the jackets.

OMG, I can't wait to see what happens when Boston and Väinö meet!

1) Emily taught her well indeed. *g*

2) YES. And JJ fighting with the unsub reminds me of Emily and "I can take it." <3

3) It has to be the hickey. It's just so odd, because before, Emily wouldn't have been caught dead in those turtlenecks.

They should just wrap up Criminal Minds next season and get Paget to do a special guest star stint. Honestly I think they ran out of ideas a while back and just reached for the most unusually and unbelievable unsubs lately.

Oh JJ. And wtf about her and Morgan training? Lol okay made sense but out of all the relationships on the show Morgan and JJ just came out of nowhere. Then again, JJ was playing online scrabble with Emily so that's more special~

I've loved AJ since she appeared in Tru Calling and watching JJ as a character evolve through the seasons was just fantastic. Let's just hope the people up there don't introduce a new woman character in place of Emily - nobody can replace her. Well, unless they contract Jaime Murray, WHO NEEDS TO BE IN TORONTO FILMING HG SCENES.

They should. It's the fifth/sixth year curse; that's usually the point when crime dramas stop working, and unfortunately, Criminal Minds wasn't immune.

The JJ/Morgan thing, I think it makes sense, but I don't get why it was hyped so much. "Such a surprising thing between JJ and someone in the team omg!" Well, this wasn't it.

It'll certainly be interesting to see how they'll go about 'replacing' Emily. Or whether they'll even hire someone else.

Yeah, I'm both sad and happy for her. And it's not like the show offers any kind of challenge to her anymore. I just hate it that we need to go through the whole leaving thing again!

I can't decide if Will cheated and JJ can't forgive him or JJ cheated (with Emily) and can't forgive herself or Emily cheated (not quite sure how this one works) and JJ wants to forgive her but can't. Either way, I think Will is toast... this may be wishful thinking.

I think Hotch and lady-love are adorable too.

Fandom has moved to tumblr? I thought that was just for pictures?

Is that pic from Middleman or the super-gay music video they did together?

I like all of those options, because one of them is certainly true; that above JJ scene definitely proves it. And if nothing else, by the end of the show's run, Will needs to be gone. I mean, seriously.

Most of my flisters are only on tumblr nowadays, and there's also been a drastic decrease in LJ posts (obvious when I compare the number of pages I used to read through before, to the number I do now). It's a shame, really, because the sense of community is lost on tumblr.

It's such a shame. As unpredictable and wrong-headed as LJ has sometimes proven itself, it's been a real boon to fostering a sense of community. I really hope we don't lose that, because it's made fandom a much nicer placer to be.

I think the people behind The Middleman must have had a secret femslash agenda and that just makes its cruel cancellation all the more galling. Why isn't there more MM femslash?
