We have a chain of similar shops here called "Suno" - I used to stop by for their shaved ice + strawberry/oreo crumbles/mochi/strawberry sauce version at least once a week during the hotter months. They have a bunch of different varieties, too, great for summer. And they recently came out with a set of crepes for winter - the "Death by Chocolate" (brownie, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, whipped cream and cream cheese) is to die for, oh man. It's so rich, though, you're better off eating it on an empty stomach.

Oh man, that Death by Chocolate crepe sounds amazing. Anything that has "chocolate" and "death" gets my approval :)

Haha yeah, it is quite delicious. And theoretically about as difficult to make as brownies, perhaps - as long as the ingredients are fresh, the crepe part may be the most technique (and ingredient) heavy item of the recipe. I've been meaning to try to make it myself since that shop only has them available during late fall and winter but I dunno if I have the patience too. X)

"the crepe part may be the most technique (and ingredient) heavy item of the recipe."

I can imagine. I wouldn't dare make my own crepe...it'd probably turn out more like a pancake than a crepe.

oh my god that sounds ideal. i like the idea of shaved ice but i hate how much it feels like eating day-old snow.
