i recently discovered i am moving to kansas city this summer. im not quite sure what to think of it. i am scared and a bit unnerved. i just want my house, really....and my friends. that is going to be extremely weird not being in st louis. i suppose im a bit numb to the idea. i dont much feel like starting over with making new friends and ( Read more... )

as someone who has moved on her own to a new city, i give you hope. it takes time, but think of it as a gift. someday you can say you lived there, not that it's paris or rome or even new york, but kansas city really is a good place. this summer will be fun, i promise you. i can't wait to have geener/lo afternoons, we can drink lots of coffee and run laps!
