I am writing just a quick update, because I don't have much patience, but I want it told that I am about to letter a new volume of Noragami. I knew I missed it these last few months, but I didn't realize how much I missed it until I sat down to get the files set up this evening and started feeling all my love and

NORAGAMIIIIIII!!!! Oh my gosh, it's so much worse than you could ever imagine. ...Okay, I take that back. I can imagine worse. But let's not think about that and for now...

DON'T SAY THAT!!! Aggggghhhhhh!!!! I just gave up on doing the vertical placement adjustment because I can't deal with it anymore. (the horizontal placement is easier because most pages have that margin line, but the top and bottom usually don't show panel edges so I have to compare it to where it cuts off in the book and that's just too risky for this series.) I was already going "Wait, something's happening to that character!! They're my favourite, let them be okay! Wait, not that favourite character too?! What?! What's happening???" every couple pages. (they're all my favourite character, so there was no avoiding it really.) Okay. Putting words on pages now. I will keep the happy dance link handy.

I'm sorry. We really debated about that first comment, but ultimately we couldn't resist. And we thought about teasing you some more, but we decided it's best not to push it. So instead, we'll say, "And remember when we went to Kodansha and got to see that first chapter before everybody else?" And there was no dialogue so we had no idea what was going on. Ah, good times.

Incidentally, we took Stray Stories with us to Disneyland for reading whenever we found ourselves sitting around waiting for something (or when we were hoping someone might notice what we were reading), and man was that a good decision. Nobody noticed it, but we sure enjoyed rereading it!

Hahahaha! No, you were fine!! Really. I'm feeling very emotional and anxious right now but it's not a bad thing. It's just what Noragami does to me. And I'm forever thankful to have Noragami friends who I know understand how it is!!! And right now I just finished the second chapter and I'm about to cry. Or scream. I don't even know. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I should keep going.

(also I should add, "Oh yeah, we did see that first chapter without the dialogue huh?" but on top of not having dialogue I was also feeling really overwhelmed by awesome Kodansha and being sleep-deprived, so my memory of it now or even my comprehension skills in that moment were not at their best.)
