one weekend, no, two weekends ago or maybe even more my friend and neighbor andrea svensyhan and i decided to have an adventure into the grand synthesis of environments and sheer artistry that is daphne

at first we decided to go to "foreman's creek", a location which we heard from the local cäänterbury tribe to be a magical place

the endeavor was not quite facile, a result of the overgrown forestry the encompassed us
we had heard from the natives that the terrain would be as described, so it was not much of a surprise

they said that no one had gone near the river in years because of an "evil" forest spirit in the guise of a frog named haßavay

when we arrived at the creek we were amazed
in the ocean swam little tadpole-like creatures with the heads of infants
their fins were long and thin like paper and waved in our direction when we entered

returning along the trail mademoiselle svenskyhan and i ran into a very ancy andrew aidrophise, who was looking for someone with whom to dance

after drawing from a hat did we decide that a hardcore dance-off was to be had
we thus took a side root to the open fields of open fields where the dancing began

we all tried our best but andrew's innate mastery of danse could not be matched
andrew was quite a happy pherric that afternoon

minutes after andrew left, andrea and i heard something in the bushes
for a trivial amount of time did we wait in utter anticipation before we heard a "wisp" and were bewildered
before us raced a tree nymph, still young thus still trusting of humans
i, amazed, needed proof of my coup d'œil, so i snapped a photo of it before it disappeared into the forest

andrea was much amused by the creature, unlike i

leaving the trails of open fields, svensyhan and ratajczak did walk along desolate plains for hours
we rested finally after the sun moved 13.4 degrees
andrea was tired and annoyed

after lunch and a misadventure in the eastern forests of brußlande, andrea and i stumbled upon a skyscraper
surrounded by nothing but grass, its enormity was enhanced by the bleakness of the vicinity
here andrea and i decided at once that we would climb the building and then jump off of it

we practiced jumping in a near-by rest area

the view from the top of the building was magnificent
andrea hung off of the edge and watched birds fly whilst i tried to eat the clouds that encompassed me

minutes passed when she said, "ok! i am ready to jump!"
she dove - no, glided - off of the building and landed on a bench a mile away

on the bench she whispered to the wind, which passed to me this message
"to-day i had fun. until next time"
and when i looked towards her direction i realized that she had vanished
