Through the years, when everything went wrong, together we were strong, I know that I belonged right here with you through the years.

Fuck you for making me think of that song! Now I feel sad, too! ;) What am I, listening to easy listening radio? (No, I'm just kinda drunk.)

I miss technology-free days also, even though I feel lost when my internet goes out -- ah, contradictions. The thing is, there are fewer people than I can count on one hand whom I'd really want to hang out with anymore. Maybe connections with friends just aren't the same as we get older. While I rarely reminisce about old relationships anymore, I do think a lot about how easy friendships used to be.

Sometimes chain-smoking is called for. This is one of those nights where I wish we smoked in the house.

I definately miss old friends... way more than I even think about old boyfriends. And maybe connections just aren't the same anymore, as we connect ourselves to our jobs and houses and habits.

I'm a bit buzzed myself. Cheers to you g-bug :)
