1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people.
ToT The first book I picked up doesn't really have proper sentences in it, it's my Arabic textbook, so I can't properly replicate it anyway. Hmm...
Okay, here goes:
MagiColor
Le Gilet
189F
Le grand gilet zippé en épais molleton.
On craque pour son allure moderne et décontractée! Confortable, il est en épais molleton bien doux 50% coton, 50% acrylique.
O.O Man, it's not at all obvious that I'm at work in the language lab, is it? Sheesh...
Er, tags. See, not that many people read my LJ. However, I may email some, so here goes:
1. Laura
2. Gareth
3. Mary (? if she has time, and still reads?)
4. (C, W, and D already tagged)
5. (could do peeps like Rachel and Steph, but don't really want to)
Man, yesterday I literally spent 3 hours straight cleaning and baking - and when I took a break, it was to lay down and knit! >.<# The stereotypical image of it got to me, and I couldn't handle it. Still, now our bathroom is clean, bedroom's clean (AGAIN - it gets cluttered so quickly...ToT), dishes are washed (AGAIN), and I made some yummy wheat bread. *o*
So, I have a job interview at 10:30 am, which I hope goes well. Here's the weird thing: don't remember if I've already said this, but the interview is with the International Ed. Office. O.O Yeah, the people who laid me off, because my job no longer existed. As nearly as I can tell, they're hiring to replace a friend of mine who graduated, and not just hiring to replace my old position - the job description's different, to an extent. So, here's hoping they like me a lot, and that I'm the right candidate for the job, and that they'll take me back. 'Cause I could sure use the money, and that was a fun job to have, for all of the excess political bullcrap, and strange extra hours.
Not much going on, other than that. I am so ready for the weekend to get here! Especially since I didn't really sleep last night, so I'm pretty groggy (yeah, great way to go into a job interview...).
Damn, baby pictures should be outlawed, 'cause they're just too freaking cute.
Hope you're all doing well,
Love, Lyssa
