I just wanted to mention the space paws people are really really great, and I'm sure Murphy has a great home until a forever one is found.

I'd suggest trying to network through Catster, and seeing if local rescue groups might be able to help. It's tough with older cats. :(

Sorry for introducing myself in an awkward spot... lol... :) I wandered over here from... I'm not sure where, last night, as I was doing a little exploring on LJ. So I thought I'd drop a note to say hello, and that you look like a very interesting person. I hope you don't mind the add!

And that is a beautiful and obviously affectionate kitty. If I was in Maryland, I'd take her in a heartbeat :)
