yay for being in your space with loved ones. fuck guilt. i am so glad my blood relatives mostly accept my never visiting ever [well, very rarely, and only when one is quite ill] and we meet in the middle in neutral territories.

Sometimes I just get these "I miss yous" full of longing, or side almost snark, or anger, but underneath it is pain. And a lot of that pain is old and not my fault, and yet, when you understand it, and love those folks, boundaries are hard. (Especially in a family of children of alcoholics who aren't good with boundaries to begin with.)

But yes, for the most part, I like the distance. It's less stressful. I do wish I could be an easier influence over my niece and nephews, though.

And I miss you guys, and your hearths out in WV.

Low vitamin D can cause all kinds of problems, so I'm glad yours is being dealt with. (I have to be careful which brands of otc vitamins I take, since many of them don't seem to work at all. If you're going with prescription, I assume you won't have that issue. If they send you otc, let me know.)

In other news, I have been drinking tons of Hooded Figures tea, and despite having to avert my eyes, I am enjoying it immensely. ;)

That seems like it would be good! I need to put in another Adagio order. I have Labyrinth teas I have been out of, not to mention the blueberry white.

Oh, best of luck with the vitamin D supplements! Unsurprisingly, lots of people up our way have that same problem, and for some of them it really helps! And it's good that if it isn't that she's willing to try synthroid.

I'm glad the oolong express made it! I am expecting my monthly shipment soon, so we'll see what I get this time!

Well, she is good at going back and forth with what she said with me, so I may be finding another doc in the future.

Turns out I had a cold, it wasn't allergies. BUT...am feeling better and have an appt with head and neck surgery people. (I don't know why that department, but apparently is for sinus imaging MAYBE if they feel I should have it?)

Health is on the mend, I think. I would certainly like to be down with it and just enjoy my winter hearth, such as it is in California, Kingdom of Summer. :)
