I am thoroughly enjoying proofreading for Bookshare. I'm also scanning, but proofing is a little more involved. I have the opportunity to read some awesome books and am now working on my third one which should be submitted tomorrow! I hope I'm doing a good enough job. I should actually download one of these to see how it looks.

I went to the Successfully Orienting Students program at AU today. Basically, it is mandatory and packed full of information sessions about much of what I have learned online. Anyone watch ABC tonight? What is up with Antigravity? Are they some new popular group of people I have never heard of? My mom was describing what they were doing to me, and it sounded... strange for a presidential party.

What minute I saw of the inauguration this morning left me feeling bored. I think Michelle Obama was speaking, and well... it seemed like she was reading every little, tiny word she spoke, which according to the public speaking class is a bad thing. Well, I called admissions. I was too anxious to wait for the letter. LOL, the girl on the phone was like, "It'll be there in a few days." I know that, but was glad she could tell me over the phone... Anyway, I have been accepted!

I had to share this! I am sitting here anticipating some letter coming in the mail from Auburn. I checked online, and I just found out that a decision has been made on my application! Why oh why are they making me wait while they draw out the time to let me know if I have been accepted? LOL.
