Between allergies, the medication for allergies, my sister, and driving practice, my brain is made of squish.
Picked up the first Hack/Slash of the new series, Bomb Queen #3, and OUTSIDERS #47 OMG.
I made little eeeeeeee noises at Grace getting busted out in a backless medical gown. And biting through elevator cables WITH HER TEETH. They made a point of Grace wanting to get Anissa out first, which seemed a bit heavy-handed to me at first because the rest of the team was closer, but then I grokked to the fact that it was, ya know, Grace. And Grace doesn't do plans so much as she follows her fists.
The writing was pretty good. I had issues with Katana and her not having any complaints about their new mission. I had issues with her not having any dialog at all, really. But Grace causing massive property damage in a paper gown made up for it.
Also, I'm growing fond of the current art.
But Anissa's hair makes her look like the Bride of Frankenstein. Which, weird, and something that happened while she was captured.
Checkmate now plz?
