Not having closed captioning is God's way of telling you not to watch TV.

Or - watch the original, UK version of The Office on DVD - it has subtitles, which even pretty much non-deaf me (I?) needs to follow the dialogue.

Who is this god person? Do I need to sneak up on them and break kneecaps because they don't realize the hearing-impaired want vacuous entertainment too? :-)

Haven't ever watched the American version of The Office, but I do love British accents, so not a bad idea at all that I rent the UK version. :-)
