I just got back from my little weekend away with Joanne in Hay-on-Wye. There is a literature festival there every year and we decided to go and check it out. The town is as pretty and interesting as ever and, being a place famous for it's ridiculous number of second hand books shops, I found plenty of things to spend my money on, including a book ( Read more... )

I'm off work poorly again, but this time it's my own stupid fault. Word to the wise; check the sell-by date on milk BEFORE you mix a pint and a half of it into chocolate milkshake and drink it.
