So we got to SoCal. The hotel charges $10/day for Internet and phone access, and since we all have cell phones, it's not really worth paying the $10, so I basically have no internet access. How scary losing track of Galen must have been. I've lost track of Becky a few times and been petrified. He's a smart boy and not only took care of his immediate need, but went to a place where he could be found or report himself as missing.

We play "what if" with Becky sometimes and that's one we haven't done, I don't think. We usually do physical safety.

I understand that you're having difficulty with a petulent parent. My dad was very indulgent with Becky these last 10 days, and she's come back with some behaviours that are so not cute. I'm sure that time will tame them.

Speaking of projects. I learned to do sprang. It's fun and pretty fast. I made a small pouch that fits over a water bottle but it fits a jar of sunflower seeds even better. Time to get back to Becky's sweater. It's sewing time and then sleeves time. I know that sounds backwards, but that's what the instructions say.
