the highlights of my day were getting a lot of schoolwork done at the University of Pittsburgh library, visiting South Side with my dad and my sister, buying some turkish silvers so that i could smoke without wanting to vomit afterwards (which included chatting up the guy working at the gas station because i'd left my I.D. at home), and talking ( Read more... )

i visited deb today, which was great.  my dad let me take his car and drive there by myself for the first time, so that was pretty exciting.  i only hit a curb once.
i hadn't seen her since she'd gotten chemo, so i forgot that she'd lost her hair, and that was sort of surprising.  it had started to grow back, and i think she looked beautiful that ( Read more... )

first, you need to know it's been raining for four hours, give or take.
