I beg to differ on cats being happy when you leave them alone. However, you have described my Mihja very well. She's always looking for ways to escape and trips over my feet in the kitchen many times! LOL She gets this "I could kill this person" look when I pick her up and squeeze her.

Still, it's always at the front door waiting for me to come home everyday. She has anxiety about being left alone since she was an abandoned cat. Poor thing. But yes, you have described her quite well. =)
