I wouldn't count on it. Although I won't even try to defend JC, although I do like him more than Richard. But now with the new Triumverite thing with Nathaniel and Damien maybe it would be best to just dump both JC and Richard and go with the other two or Asher (although he may be a screwed up as she is). Micah would be good too, I like him now. :)

Holy shit! You can't be serious? I mean, yeah, she shouldn't see JC unless they need the trimutive, but she *needs* to get rid of Damien too. I think the series has turned from Anita Blake: Vampire Slayer to Anita Blake: Porn Star with her own harem. *EG*

Okay, Damien should probably go too, but I do like him a lot more than Richard. :) Sorry, had to say it. Maybe dump them all and pick Micah, although I still find him kind of boring but I just read the beginning of Incubus Dreams when he explained why the long hair and broken nose so kind of feeling sorry for him at the moment.

But you are absolutely right about the Anita Blake: Porn Star thing, although it did make rereading Guilty Pleasures much funnier when she's going on about not having sex until marriage. :)
