"ЗЕЛЕНЫЙ" ТАНЕЦ, ДЕРЕВЬЯ-ГИГАНТЫ и СЛОНЫ-ПИГМЕИ или АВТОР В НЕДОУМЕНИИ
Копенгагенской конференции посвящается
И снова Калимантан… На сей раз - танцы расположенного на самом-самом северо-востоке индонезийской части гигантского острова (то есть, на границе с Малайзией - КАРТА) района Нунукан. Причем один из них имеет самое прямое отношение к нынешней климатической конференции ООН в Копенгагене…
Ну, а хроническое недоумение автора (два года назад подробно освещавшего предшествовавшую нынешней копенгагенской конференцию на Бали - первый пост см. ЗДЕСЬ, а потом можно просто кликать сверху "Next entry"), сводится к следующему:
ХОТЬ КТО-ТО МОЖЕТ МНЕ ОБЪЯСНИТЬ непонятную позицию таких ведущих производителей кислорода на нашей планете, как Индонезия и Россия? Они покорно кушают все выпады в свой адрес касаемо выбросов парниковых газов, стыдясь напомнить о том, что они, в общем-то, выбрасыват в атмосферу не только их… Кто-то может мне объяснить, почему не учитывается БАЛАНС между выбрасываемыми той или иной страной ПАРНИКОВЫМИ ГАЗАМИ И КИСЛОРОДОМ?
Казалось бы, вырубившие свои леса сотни лет назад европейские страны, тем самым внесшие колоссальный кумулятивный эффект в дело мирового потепления (а дым их первых паровозов все еще висит в воздухе), должны тихо сидеть в уголке и стыдливо краснеть (еще лучше - сажать леса)? Но нет, они учат жить других…
Ну а теперь - к делу…
В калимантанской римбе, поясняет синопсис проходившего неделю назад выступления в TMII, растет много-много самых разных деревьев. В том числе и во-о-от такие высокие…
…самые настоящие великаны, которые и пробуют изобразить в танце эти очаровательные девушки, исполняющие танец Ubur Fulung Rayeh.
"Это - не наша личная собственность, а общее имущество (всех жителей планеты), сердце мира, - говорится в синопсисе. - Поэтому ухаживать за ним мы тоже должны все вместе".
"Алё, гараж!" (с) Я повторю: не только назидать и критиковать, но и ухаживать. Кому лениво - можно деньгами…
Кстати, по расположенному в Нунукане национальному заповеднику Kayan Mentarang все еще пока бродят редчайшие калимантанские слоны-пигмеи (не путать со слонами-карликами!), они же - Borneo Pygmy Elephant (Elephas maximus borneensis)...upd: ПОДРОБНЕЕ о них...

Ну вот, только что получил очень характерный пресс-релиз натасканного понятно кем WWF-Индонезия по поводу Копенгагена:
Copenhagen, Denmark - The UN climate talks in Copenhagen were almost inches away from failure, said WWF-Indonesia.
"This happened due to a high level of criticism with regards to lack of transparency, unclear procedures and poor leadership", said Fitrian Ardiansyah, Climate and Energy Program Director at WWF-Indonesia.
"Copenhagen Climate Conference is fortunately ended with an outcome (a Copenhagen Accord), albeit still weak to tackle dangerous climate change", said Ardiansyah. Regarding the substance, a significant number of Heads of States and politicians around the world seem to be in agreement that we must stay below the 2 degree C threshold of unacceptable risks of climate change - in theory. The Accord also endorses the provision of fast-start financing around USD 30 billion in 2010-2012 from developed countries to support developing countries in undertaking adaptation and mitigation actions, including from forestry (REDD-plus).
"This is a well meant pledge but still a long way to go for a legally binding framework that many would like to see to be able to protect our planet from dangerous climate change and to address a crisis that calls for completely new ways of collaboration across rich and poor countries." said Ardiansyah. "Millions of lives, hundreds of billions of dollars and a wealth of lost opportunities lie in the difference between rhetoric and reality on climate change action."
Attention will now shift to follow up the up-coming negotiations in 2010 which need to fill out many details in the Accord - and, on a more positive note, to a host of initiatives by countries, cities, companies and communities that are starting to build low carbon economies from the base up.
"Indonesia in this case, has an opportunity to show further leadership to transform this accord into stronger agreement as well as prove that the pledge made by the President can be transformed and implemented domestically. Collaborating with other nations, Indonesia can start strengthening its REDD-plus readiness activities backed up by demonstration activities at provincial and district level. In the context of coping with climate change impacts, Indonesia can start mainstreaming adaptation policy in the economic development agenda so that we are prepared for the gradual impacts which we have felt" said Ardiansyah
"At international level, we will push to have a treaty and we will be collaborating with other strategic partners and working on one in half a year's time." "There is also a hope that the coming US legislation can be realized and this will mark the beginnings of financial flows, which can contribute significantly to effective climate action." "We can assure the world, however, that WWF and other elements of civil society will continue engaging in every step of further negotiations."
