Wild Turkey Sighting!

Sep 14, 2006 09:38

This morning, on my ride to North Station, I saw a wild turkey walking westbound on the sidewalk on the southern side of the very wide part of Binney Street in Cambridge.

WTF?!

I guess it was right on the edge of the "Biotech" district. :-)

There was a turkey living outside Intex, where I worked in Needham over the summer. Its name was Tom-Tom. I usually saw it in the parking lot.

Intex, reeally? I would be very curious to know your opinion of them as I have talked with a fellow classmate of mine working there now.
Glad you found a place so quickly.

I'm surprised it's taken this long--there's a herd of 1-1.5 dozen on my street (Newton Corner), a good herd just into Brighton, and I've seen them in numerous other places. We did a *really* good job re-introducing them a ways back. We also have coyotes in Newton and there have been sightings in Boston proper.
