NOTE: The creativity of the story idea behind this is NOT my own!!! The story idea was told to me by Abel, aka inoli. Ever since she told me the story she wants to write/roleplay out, I've been wanting to draw it and write it. So since I already did a couple pictures already, here's my version of the story.

"The truth is...." he started with a soft voice, distant as if he were merely a husk of a person, a specter there to comfort and protect the youthful Redhead. "When I first heard thunder, first saw lightning for the very first time--" He hesitated trailing off momentarily. So upcoming of his present emotions, the silliness the seemingly innocence that played with the laugh and the addiction to sugar, depicted that of a child, a man with a sheltered life. So on the rarest occasions, he would let a very select few see beyond that childish mask and he would let them catch a glimps of something else benieth- something even the Krusnik couldn't change. He took a deep breath as he smoothed out Esther's hair curling her close to him, as if he could protect her from all the wrongs in the world

The redhead had slowly turned her head up to look at the Father as his hand moved over the top of her head. Slowly the tears started to still and dry up as she felt the protective embrace. Bring a hand up, she started to brush away the tears that were still lingering, and then she heard it. She stopped for a moment, looking a little confused. She recognized the sound of thunder far too well, but what she had just heard, she wasn't sure. Her blue gaze turned back up to the Father. "What was--" She was silenced by the sound again, the explination to her incomplete question soon following from the whining priest. She stared at him in surprise for a moment before she laughed lightly. "Oh Father... Maybe we should go find something for you in the kitchen?"
