When are you moving home? I was thinking about coming to Sheffield in the summer to see Helen and I'd really like to meet you!

Obviously there's no rush though. I've not even made up a proposal yet. XD
My contract ends on the last day of June, but I imagine I'll be moving out before then. I can always come back though! When were you thinking of visiting?

I was thinking about coming up in the summer, but nothing's arranged yet. Oh well, if we don't meet then, I'm sure we could meet in Japan sometime! ;)

I'm sure your dissertation will be fine once you get into the core of it, you're still only scratching the surface, that's hardly going to provide you with the motivation needed to fire up and get to the end! I'm awful with introductions and conclusions, both take forever, but once I'm into the heart of it everything goes very smoothly without me even realising it. I hope it'll be the same for you, but even if it isn't, I have no doubt that you'll be fine! :D

An introduction to modern Japan through Japanese TV drama, for 17-18-year-olds and above watch an episode of the drama about which I'm writing my dissertation, Haken no Hinkaku, with a brief lecture before the viewing on the historical, economic and political background, and discussion afterwards about the points it raises.
Seriously cool. It also, for me, seems ideal for that age-group, because straddling the gap between A-level and university can be very challenging for some, and from the way you summarised it, it seemed to be bridging that gap very nicely.
All the ideas sound amazing, though -- I wish you the best of luck with it!
