Two quick points: 1.) I do not think your conclusion solves your problem. Are you assuming that if you had no wants, then you would never be disappointed? If you had no wants you would be a Buddhist monk... or better yet, not human/animal/etc able to function in most all societies. 2.) And to touch further on this idea of wants in context of acts of charity (or benevlance as my graduate seminar is completely focused on) I have much more to talk to you about. So this is to make sure that when you read this you will remind me about it since i'll be at the computer next to you :-) Talk to you soon! ~Lindi
