inarizushi is my favorite as well. so you could imagine my surprise when i arrived and saw that they sell it at every freakin` convenience store!

there are no kaiten sushi places in my city, so i usually make my friends take me there when i visit the `burbs.

I will give you directions to an all-you-can-eat place in Osaka and you can give yourself a sushi hangover this New Year's Eve! Don't let them boss you around with bad seats, though.

i'd love it if you gave me the directions to that place. do you think New Year's will be more awesome in Osaka or in Kyoto? i'm trying to decide which place to go with my friends on that night.

oh, and happy birthday too. hope you had a good one!

I thought that there was a fire festival in Kyoto on New Year's eve, but my thirty second google search doesn't confirm this. I'm going to say Kyoto, because it's prettier and there's probably more temple and shrine activity that night. I'll let you know if I find something out though.
Oh and I don't know when you're coming down, but in Kobe before Christmas they have millions of lights strung everywhere. It's called rumaneria in katakana. Not sure when it ends though.

My question exactly. We can't possible know everything about you until we know if you got the inarizushi *raises eyebrows and waits patiently*

I just realized this is my modern-day "counting trains during the softball game" story.
