i made these last night. they were pretty good but the bacon fat gravy was a bit rich. also, my grandpa is 84 and he's been eating bacon (among other, probably worse things) 5 days a week for the last 60 years. i eat it about .5 times a week, so i think i'll be alright considering i have his genes.
It's cherry blossom season! The flowers are nice, but the best part is an excuse to see friends and have picnics and eat carnival food. I highly recommend it. In New York, even.
